The vineyard of white gravel in Ried Kart is situated above a subterranean mineral-water lake on the Hungarian border. Gravelly soil with portions of flint and salt make their mark on the solidly grounded nature of this Sauvignon, fermented 50%–50% in cask and stainless steel. A joy to drink, particularly with goat cheese.
