BRENNBERGH_Weingut Strehn Deutschkreutz
In ancient times, folks believed that salamanders could live in fire and extinguish flames – this wine achieves exactly the opposite: every year we’re simply burning with desire to get this wild beauty from the vineyard Kronberg into the bottle. It grows on 65-year-old throwback bush-trained vines – without any support from stakes or wires: this wine has enough backbone to stand tall and ripen strong. Dark berry fruit, as black as ink, with a fascinating framework of tannins and a great future ahead of it.
